Calling Upon The Demon Barbatos To Weather The Storms Of The Great Reset - And Prosper

The dogs of doom are howling across the globe right now. If ever there was a time to enlist the Hierarchy Of Hell for help - it's now!

In these difficult times we need all the help we can get. We need to pull out the stops. After the Nordstrom sabotage, Europe will likely face a dark winter - literally dark as electrical power will be in short supply. Britain will probably be in the same boat (thus I'm sorting out solar batteries). That's not to mention supply chain issues and impending food shortages. We won't even get into the threat of world war breaking out...

In short, we need to empower ourselves. We need some heavy duty “ammo” to keep ourselves buoyant. The dogs of doom are howling everywhere right now. There’s no time to lose. So I’d recommend enlisting the assistance of the Hierarchy of Hell – one that springs to mind is the demon Barbatos, who could well bring some much-needed empowerment.

As you can see from the woodcut illustration below, Barbatos, a duke of the underworld, was often depicted as a hunter, thus, according to the Ars Goetia and other medieval grimoires, you’re most likely to meet him in woodlands (typically on the other planes or dimensions).

The power you can receive from Barbatos is that of divination, getting insight into “tracks of probability” surrounding future events, so you can act accordingly - or speculate with some degree of accuracy. Unsurprisingly, given his countryside habitat, Barbatos divines from birdsong, the roar of bulls and the barking of dogs. But you can use many things for divination. The patterns of the clouds, fallen twigs on the woodland floor, or the more obvious tarot cards and runes. You can read the potential futures anywhere and at any time.

Barbatos also is known for finding treasure buried by magicians. Of course, the question here is who are the magicians in the modern world? My answer to that would be anybody that can think left-field and laterally, and is willing to try anything to test if it works or not - even crazy things... yes, even summoning demons! Haha.

But the most powerful magicians, certainly of the older school (i.e. 20th century and industrial age) are the money brokers, financiers, bankers, and oligarchs. They have literally cast sophisticated “spells” on us all. Money itself is a work of magic; it relies on belief. It has no substance, certainly not since the gold standard was finally abolished in 1971 in the US.

We all accept that our nation’s currency has value. The thing is it doesn't - certainly when it's not pegged to anything other than debt (with loans created on computers out of thin air). Its become worthless, and now what's known as “fiat” currencies are about done. They've reached the end of the line and most global currencies are pivoting close to collapse.

This is where Barbatos can help us. He can lead us to the real “treasure” - the one not seen (rather than hidden) by the above “magicians". The reason they don't see the treasure is most are rooted in the old world of debt-capitalism and the industrial ethos. Their minds aren't necessarily primed for the radical transition we're living through - a transition on a par with the Renaissance period where the discovery of perspective, and how you can manipulate the three dimensions, caused huge disruptions to human society - until people settled into the new paradigms that came as a result of this period of change.

So how can you call upon Barbatos?

Well, I'm of the mind that you don't need to be fancy and medieval when it comes to dealing with demons. Treat them as equals and with respect - pretty much how you'd like to be treated yourself. Just use the sigil associated with the given demon you wish to call upon. Meditate on it for a minute or so. Intone the demon's name a few times... don't worry about the pronunciation as there isn't much consensus on that. Then relate what it is you wish to achieve.

Of course, many might say you should set up a protective circle. For me that just shows you're fearful - not the best footing to be on when it comes to demons. But you might visualize and feel the elements around you - earth, air, fire and water; not so much for protective, but more to get you into a “magical mindset" and out of the everyday realm.
