Drop In Miracles
Out of the blue the miraculous happens
West Stow Country Park cafe.
Sitting outside.
Latte.
Blue skies.
Clouds turning into dragons.
Phone rings.
Earbuds.
Doesn’t disturb others around me.
But they still look.
Or the retirees do.
It remains more natural to be talking to a tangible being.
Rather than apparently to yourself.
I’m talking to Driscilla.
Long-term Dokology client.
DRISCILLA: I know you’re going to scold me, Dok. But do you believe in miracles? I’ve always wanted to ask you.
DOK: Much as I’m sure you’d enjoy a good scolding, I’m going to say that, yes, I accept the idea of miracles. But first we’d have to define what we mean by “miracle”. It could be anything from an angel appearing from the heavens to unbelievable good luck.
DRISCILLA: All of it. Like from the Angel that appeared to thousands of witnesses at Fatima to say somebody winning £80M on the lottery and their life radically changing. With the latter it’s like how did it happen to them when the odds of winning anything are atrocious. Then there’s miraculous healings.
Of course at some point I knew Driscilla would get towards how she can make a miracle happen in her life.
But let’s wait and see.
DOK: With the Angel at Fatima, as I understand it, what most people saw was some kind of flying disc. So perhaps the UFO phenomenon is perceived in different ways by people — most likely the phenomenon morphing to fit their prevailing belief systems and cultural milieu.
With that type of phenomena, it seems like a miracle as it is fantastical compared to the drudge of everyday reality. But people did also claim to be healed of all sorts of medical complaints, some serious, by the angel. So that’s miraculous in itself — even if we brought in the idea of the placebo effect. Which is magick in itself — simply because we don’t understand how it works.
As to winning large sums on lotteries, well, somebody does have to win, however abysmal the odds.
DRISCILLA: But how do you think it all works? What is behind it all? What are these angels or UFOs? And what selects who will get phenomenal good luck?
It was becoming even more clear that Driscilla angling slowly towards how she could get in on the act of receiving miracles.
But not yet.
She needs the conversation to weave a while.
DOK: Over thousands of years people have tried to explain it. But now we’re beginning to make those explanations more tangible. Basically, UFOs and angels are digital constructs inserted from outside the Simulation. Purposely designed to respond to what people can understand and fitting their beliefs.
This realm is like a video game, a rendered reality, as are all those that inhabit Earth.
The UFOs and Angels are sent in from outside this Simulated Reality for some purpose, which might simply be observation to see what people do both in the short term and long term.
The same goes for lottery winners.
They are chosen either purposely or randomly.
Again possibly for observation purposes.
Remember, many people that win big on lotteries often blow it all pretty quickly.
At this point, I felt Driscilla would dive in, mostly likely to ask how one can tilt the Simulation in one’s favour.
I’d have dropped a tenner on that one.
But let’s see.
DRISCILLA: OK, so Simulation Theory. If we really are living in a digital universe, like that guy Nick Bostrom said, then we either don’t have any control over it as it’s all programmed by some weird dudes outside the Simulation… or there are ways we can manipulate the Simulation in our favour. What do you think, Dok?

DOK: This is something one tests…
DRISCILLA: And I know you have, Dok… so don’t be shy tell me…
DOK: Well, I don’t often get accused of being shy, usually quite the opposite… But yes, I’m testing it all the time. Conducting experiments. The methods I use are Psionics… or as the Russians call it, Psychotronics…
The gameplay being to create your own alternate Simulation in your minds eye — be it straightforward visualisation or utilising lucid dreaming. The latter being more psychonaut exploration, though you can drop in an intention before you begin.
But you keep your psionics focused on one given segment of the Simulation.
For example, if you need more readies, you don’t visualise money coming to you. You see yourself living in a state of affluence. But you see through your own eyes. You don’t see yourself anymore than you do in this section of the Simulation. So you climb into a flash car as if you are actually doing it.
Yes, you might check your online banking and investment accounts and see a ton of money in them.
But it has to be like you are actually living in the reality you are creating.
A Simulation within a Simulation.
DRISCILLA: I’m absolutely going to do that beginning after work tonight!
DOK: So what kind of Simulation within a Simulation will you be creating?
DRISCILLA: Oh I think affluence and a new boyfriend…
DOK: Well god (or the great programmer) help him if he manifests…
DRISCILLA: Well, you can count your blessings it’s not you, Dok…
