"Luck of the Devil" - gambling rite
Uncanny good fortune at casinos, slots, and all games of chance...
A shimmering haze hung upon the horizon, a bright and sunny late spring day. Birds singing, insects buzzing, joy apace amidst the glory of nature herself. Walking to the place of power was a pilgrimage. My mentation system focused on the intention at hand.
That intention was to bring one of my long-time clients the “luck of the devil” at gambling establishments. He'd lost a mint at Monte Carlo during the winter months and had a dire need to recover his losses and get on a winning streak again.
God knows he needed it. He was stony broke and in major debt.
A week previously, I'd said to him:
"Lady Luck is a fickle courtesan. She'll smile on you one day and give you her graces. The next she will spurn you. I know you've always been something of a god-fearing man, but you know the only way to turn things around is to go to the other side. It's entirely your choice, of course. But you forfeit nothing. Your soul, such as it is, will remain intact. There is, however, the need for an offering.”
“What is that?” he asked, clearly a little nervious I was referring to his immortal soul.
"It's straightforward," I replied. “You simply have to sacrifice your wayward thoughts, gain focus and most importantly, develop objective reason - all of which will serve you well… far more than you could ever dream of.
"Sounds fine to me," he said.
And so it was I found myself walking over to the Devil's Dyke in Cambridgeshire, a place of power, replete with compelling and perhaps fanciful folklore concerning the Devil himself. The Devil's Dyke is an 18 mile long ditch constructed in prehistoric times, a place intuitives feel was built to harness great power from the under-realm.
This is undoubtedly the case as I have proven many times with my “machinations of magic”, which have without question got the job done, as it were.
Clients have literally been in tears. "I never thought it possible," said one on seeing their luck changed dramatically. “The gods have smiled on me.”
"Certainly you have been smiled upon," I said with a knowing wink. "Take care to adhere to your bargain. The offering of calming wayward thoughts and your luck will hold."
And thus, on another mission to help a client, I was standing within the great recess of the Devil's Dyke, conducting my evocation to bring my current client, his much-needed “luck of the Devil”.
Did it work?
Let's just say his debts are paid off and he's not only back in Monte Carlo on a winning streak, but he's also minting up on a few high-level speculations associated with mining activities in various nations in Africa. The latter having come as a result of his sticking with his bargain to develop objective reason.
