This reading is brillant - the whole concept of mistaking stability for boredom really hit home. I remeber dating someone super exciting who turned out to be just chaos in disguise, and the 'boring' guy I almost passed on became my anchor. Sometimes the still lake is exacty what we need, we just gotta recognize it.

And we can lob a stone into the lake anytime we decide a bit of chaos would be fun.

Point being we decide.

Whereas the so called “wild” people simply react to everything.

Still lake is good.

Operating System at rest.

We crank up the software when we need it.
