Watch Out, A Snake!!!

OK, so you’re in the country, you spot a snake in the grass. You freeze. Your whole attention is on the snake. Right that second you can learn a huge amount.
Before you do that, though, you need to back off slowly from the snake. Don’t agitate it. Just back off. You’ll be fine.
Now it’s time to learn.
Think back to when you noticed the snake. Immediately your full attention was on it. Total focus to the exclusion of all else.
This is natural.
Recognize that in all other areas of your life this if FAR from the case. Your attention is scattered. Your thoughts begin on some subject or other, but don’t complete. Your thoughts are disjointed and tail off elsewhere. They never resolve.
Just imagine if you were able to keep the laser-sharp focus of your attention when you saw the snake?
Think what you would achieve in life?
To see trains of thought through is very powerful. Even if you aren’t looking to achieve anything, you will be more balanced. You will have self-control in life.
How do we achieve this?
By self-observation. There is no technique, no effort, no practice. Just observation. From there you learn about your internal mechanisms.
If by chance, you wanted to be rich, or at least have a comfortable income, then this is the way to do that. See your thoughts through and keep keep full focus on them. Seem them through.
It is one way of being in control of yourself (the only thing you can have control of). That is the key to riches, and not just in the material sense.
