Excellent talk once again. Funny how you were talking about the end of religion looming, as over the Christmas period I noticed that there was hardly any mention of Jesus and the Nativity, Joseph and Mary or the Magi it was all focused on presents and Santa Claus, I'm guessing that retailers need to appeal to everyone. Then again what most Christians think of as Christmas is just the ancient pagan festivals of Saturnalia and Yule rebranded, hence the use of the Chrismas tree, yule log, feasting, exchanging presents etc.

I'd argue that while the end of religion may be nigh, that's only organised religion as most humans still have an inate need to believe in something higher than themselves. Perhaps the end is inevitable as humanity grows up but still I see many more people turning to spirituality and exploring other paths. Basically humanity is coming of age.

Oh yes I also sometimes refer to Boxing day as St Stephens day glad I'm not the only one! Haha.

With the space aliens perhaps they could even be future versions of humans time travelling back into the past? Then the stories one hears of interdimensional entities perhaps are what throughout history many have referred to as genies or djinn?

Or then again what we perceive to be extraterrestrials are actually from a civilisation coming from the inner earth?

So many theories, is fun to theorise for sure.
